笔墨丹青·珍爱和平国际和平艺术推选人物——陈其旋

陈其旋,1938年出生于广东兴宁,国际著名书画艺术大师、中国当代八大艺术巨匠之一、全国著名大爱人物、英国牛津艺术学院博士生导师。1963年在西安美术学院国画系本科毕业,系中国国务外事“国宾礼形象大使”、国务院国宾礼特供艺术家、“一带一路”艺术大使,现任世界艺术家联合总会会长、大爱基金会主席等职。

新世纪以來,在世界各地组织举办了十届“世界华人艺术精品大展”。2001年荣获亚洲最高荣誉“亚细亚美术赏”大奖。2014年率中国艺术家代表团赴法国卢浮宫举办“中华艺术精品展”。纽约时间2019年2月6日,其作品及东方艺术家形象展示在纽约曼哈顿的斯达克大屏幕上,以“中国核心艺术家”之名荣登美国纽约时代广场“世界第一屏”。2019年10月其部分作品版权经香港“创艺星球艺术版权价值评佑中心〞的专家组审核评估后在“香港国际知识产权交易中心”上市交易(交易代码为860099)。2021年12月被聘为“央媒文化组委会顾问、副秘书长、中华卫视艺术风采栏目艺术总监、央广国际文化交流网艺术委员会副主席”。

其作品被洛杉矶博物馆、北京人民大会堂、墨西哥政府画廊和中国原国家主席江泽民、俄罗斯总统普京、斐济总统、总理以及陈香梅、邓朴方等收藏。他将国画界奉为金科玉律的南齐国画大师谢赫的“六法论”改写,倡导了中国画《新六法论》,被誉为1500年来国画界理论探索第一人。他还独创了中国“兰体书法”,成为蜚声国际的著名书画艺术大师。

Chen Qixuan, born in 1938 in Xingning, Guangdong, is an internationally renowned master of Chinese painting and calligraphy, one of China’s “Eight Great Contemporary Art Masters,” and a nationally recognized figure of great compassion. He is also a doctoral supervisor at the Oxford School of Arts in the UK. In 1963, he graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts. Chen serves as the “State Guest Gift Image Ambassador” for China’s national foreign affairs, a specially appointed artist for state guest gifts from the State Council, and an “Art Ambassador for the Belt and Road Initiative.” He is currently the president of the World Artists Association and the chairman of the Great Love Foundation, among other roles.

Since the beginning of the new century, Chen has organized and hosted ten “World Chinese Art Masterpieces Exhibitions” worldwide. In 2001, he won the highest honor in Asia, the “Asia Art Award” grand prize. In 2014, he led a delegation of Chinese artists to the Louvre in France to hold the “Exhibition of Chinese Art Masterpieces.” On February 6, 2019, New York time, his works and the image of an oriental artist were displayed on the Stark screen in Manhattan, New York, making him the “Core Chinese Artist” featured on the “World’s No. 1 Screen” in Times Square, New York. In October 2019, after being evaluated by a panel of experts from the Hong Kong Creative Planet Art Copyright Value Evaluation Center, some of his works were listed for trading at the Hong Kong International Intellectual Property Exchange Center (transaction code 860099). In December 2021, he was appointed as an advisor and deputy secretary-general of the “Central Media Culture Organizing Committee,” artistic director of the “Artistic Style” program on China Satellite TV, and vice chairman of the Art Committee of China National Radio International Cultural Exchange Network.

His works are housed in the Los Angeles Museum, the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, the Mexican Government Gallery, and have been collected by notable figures including former Chinese President Jiang Zemin, Russian President Vladimir Putin, the president and prime minister of Fiji, as well as Chen Xiangmei and Deng Pufang. Chen reinterpreted the “Six Principles of Chinese Painting” established by Xie He, a master of the Southern Qi dynasty, which had long been considered the golden standard in the field of Chinese painting. He advocated for a new theoretical framework, the “New Six Principles of Chinese Painting,” earning him recognition as the first person in 1,500 years to lead a theoretical exploration in the field of Chinese painting. He also invented the unique “Orchid Style Calligraphy,” which has earned him international acclaim as a renowned master of Chinese painting and calligraphy.
