刘恩,出生于1950年,号思砚,亚恩,万家灯火。广东省汕尾市城区捷胜沙坑人,中华一级美术师,国礼艺术书画家,文化部人才委中国文化信息协会常务理事,中国书画杰出成就奖荣誉称号。世界文人书画家,汕尾市群众艺术馆顾问,用中国画无起稿画法百米长卷海底鱼类称天下第一人。十大媒体报导,是一幅世界历史以來从未有画家画过的海洋画巨作。
高级画家,客座研究员,“一带一路"高级美术人才主题研修班班长,被人民日报《大地》授于大海之子称号。
刘恩,自幼酷爱书画,五岁开始学画,海滩为纸手指为笔。还有代表作《一帆风顺》《中华松》《雄风》《和谐动车》拜大自然为师,陶醉于丹青翰墨。1974年毕业韩山师院,1976进修广美。人类沿海城市人口高度集中污水对近海污染严重,呼吁人类要保护近海。开过两次个人书画展,出版个人画集,个人国家邮册集,墨缘巴黎纪念省老年诗书画摄影家协会会员汕尾市老年书画家协会会员,中华一级美术师。从事美术教育四十余载,现任汕尾市红海湾书画研究会主席。
他的作品百米长卷《海底乐园》为深圳第十屆世界文博会献礼之巨作,2008奥运会40米《海底乐园》得优秀奖,荣获"2018年度国际公益大奖作品有《雄鹰展翅》《万里神州一哨平安》《使命》《舞》《新生》,《天外来客》《万紫千红》百幅反映大海鱼虾海港、港湾六尺大宣精彩画面。第一卷百米长卷《海底乐园》天下第一鱼。第二卷百米长卷《百花图》书诗画书法作品《祖国颂》诗书法作品百米长卷第三卷,第四卷《大海雄风》百米长卷海上奇观正在创作之中。作品《中华松》与欧洲国家联展并被收藏。画家风格:现场泼墨,擅长诗书画,题材广泛,艺术风格遒劲洒脱,雄秀兼备,苍润并施,独劈蹊径,自树一帜。宗旨:服务社会,造福人类。

Liu En, born in 1950, also known by the names Si Yan, Ya En, and Wan Jia Deng Huo, is a renowned Chinese artist. He hails from Jie Sheng Sha Ke, Chaocheng District, Shanwei City, Guangdong Province. He is a First-Class Artist in China, a National Gift Calligrapher and Painter, and an Executive Director of the Talent Committee of the China Cultural Information Association under the Ministry of Culture. Liu has been honored with the Outstanding Achievement in Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Award. He is also recognized as a World Scholar in Calligraphy and Painting, a consultant for the Shanwei City Mass Art Gallery, and is widely regarded as the world’s first artist to create a marine painting of underwater fish using the Chinese painting method of without sketching for his 100-meter-long scroll "Underwater Paradise." This monumental piece has been reported by ten major media outlets, and is considered a unique masterpiece never before seen in world history.
Liu is a Senior Artist and Visiting Researcher, and serves as the leader of the “Belt and Road” Advanced Fine Arts Talent Training Program. He was given the title "Son of the Sea" by People's Daily’s "Earth" section.
Liu has been passionate about calligraphy and painting since his childhood. He started learning painting at the age of five, using the beach as paper and his fingers as a brush. Some of his representative works include "Smooth Sailing," "Chinese Pine," "Heroic Wind," and "Harmonious High-Speed Train," where he learned from nature and became immersed in the art of Chinese painting and calligraphy. Liu graduated from Han Mountain Teachers College in 1974 and continued his studies at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1976. He is an advocate for protecting coastal waters, emphasizing the serious pollution caused by highly concentrated populations in coastal cities.
Liu has held two solo exhibitions, published a personal art collection, a national postal album, and is a member of the Paris Moye Art Society and the Shanwei City Elderly Artists Association. He has been engaged in art education for over forty years and currently serves as the president of the Honghaiwan Calligraphy and Painting Research Association in Shanwei City.
His masterpiece, the 100-meter-long scroll "Underwater Paradise," was presented as a gift at the 10th World Cultural Heritage Expo in Shenzhen. In 2008, his 40-meter piece of the same title won an Excellence Award at the Olympic Games. Liu’s works have earned him the 2018 International Public Welfare Grand Prize. His other notable works include “Eagle Spreading Wings,” “One Whistle for the Safety of the Entire Nation,” “Mission,” “Dance,” “New Life,” “Visitors from Outer Space,” and "A Thousand Flowers in Full Bloom," which reflect the ocean, sea life, harbors, and ports in stunning six-foot large scrolls. The first scroll, "Underwater Paradise," is celebrated as the "World’s First Fish," while the second scroll, "Hundred Flowers," includes poetry and calligraphy. His third scroll, "Praise for the Motherland," and the fourth, "Mighty Winds of the Sea," are currently in progress.
His work "Chinese Pine" has been exhibited alongside European artists and collected by various institutions. Liu’s style is known for live ink splashing, excelling in poetry, calligraphy, and painting, with themes ranging widely. His art is described as vigorous, free-spirited, majestic, bold, and deeply expressive, with his unique style carving a new path in Chinese art. His artistic mission is to serve society and benefit humanity.
In 2021, Liu participated in the "Cultural China Theme Touring Exhibition" for calligraphy and painting. He was also selected for the "Chinese Artists Overseas Media Exhibition Project" and invited to attend the 21st Century Grand Cultural Expo, where he was honored as a model of the times. Liu’s work was showcased at the Jingdezhen Ceramic Art Appreciation event, and he was recognized as one of China’s most influential and powerful calligraphers and painters.
In 2023, Liu En, as a representative of Chinese artists, was featured on the digital screens of New York’s Times Square.
